Restore Planet Earth's dying eco-systems OR this civilisation is
Doomed !
We in the 'developed' economies are still pushing for economic growth when everyday there are stark pictures of droughts, floods,
landslides swallowing whole villages, starving people...We seem to think we are immune to climate change disasters.
Just take the still sizzling hot 'Property' market in Singapore. Everyone deserves a 'roof' over their heads, but many can't afford even the smallest HDB (public housing). Yet many others are 'Investing' in their 3rd, 4th, 5th mega Condo or 4-storey glass & concrete monstrosity, with not even a postage-stamp garden - each home, a mega fossil fuel guzzler !
Do we not realise that to build such homes - we have clawed into Mother Earth, ruthlessly cleared her forests & its inhabitants, blasted her open...to mine her metals, minerals and stones.....
